Before you book

Free Consultation Terms

Please read this information before continuing to the booking calendar. It explains what the consultation involves and what will be required before any future training begins.

Last updated: 21 August 2026. These terms apply only to the introductory consultation. They do not replace the separate agreement and health-screening process required before paid coaching or physical training.

1. The consultation

The consultation is a free 30-minute conversation with Callum Lynch of Project Kaizen. Its purpose is to discuss your goals, current circumstances, previous experience and the type of support that may suit you.

Booking or attending the consultation does not oblige you to purchase coaching, and it does not guarantee that Project Kaizen will be able to offer a service.

2. Eligibility

Consultations and Project Kaizen coaching are currently available only to people aged 18 or over. By continuing to book, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your consultation. You can use the options provided in your booking confirmation or contact callum@projectkaizen.co.uk.

Because the consultation is free, no cancellation fee applies. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may affect whether another consultation can be offered.

4. Health and safety

The consultation is not a medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment. Project Kaizen does not replace advice from a doctor or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

If you have symptoms, an injury, a medical condition or concerns about starting exercise, you should seek appropriate medical advice. Project Kaizen may ask you to obtain medical clearance before physical activity where a questionnaire response or discussion raises a safety concern.

5. Required questionnaires

Before any coaching or physical training begins, you will be required to complete:

  • A Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
  • A lifestyle questionnaire
  • A stress questionnaire

Please answer accurately and disclose information that could affect your safety or the suitability of training. Project Kaizen may pause or decline training until suitable information or medical clearance has been provided.

6. Personal and health information

The questionnaires may include information about physical or mental health. This type of information requires additional protection. Before you submit these forms, Project Kaizen will provide information explaining how your data will be used, stored and protected.

Do not send detailed health information by ordinary email unless Project Kaizen has specifically asked you to use that method. The booking calendar is operated by Zoho and its own privacy information also applies when you use it.

7. Scope of the discussion

The consultation may cover general training goals, habits, confidence, scheduling and accountability. It does not include medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or personalised nutrition services.

8. Questions and changes

If anything here is unclear, contact callum@projectkaizen.co.uk before booking. Project Kaizen may update this page when the consultation process changes; the version displayed when you book will apply to that booking.
